Kent and Medway Listens is a chance for anyone in Kent to discuss what is putting pressure on their mental wellbeing and share their ideas about what can be done to support the wellbeing of residents.

Sharing views to support development of services

There are a number of ways you can get involved in sharing your views to help develop mental health and wellbeing services in Kent and Medway.

Different NHS and local authority organisations have patient groups and representatives, which you can find out about through the organisation’s website.

Links to information about current patient engagement and public consultations on mental health services can be found on NHS Kent and Medway Clinical Commissioning Group’s Get Involved pages  and Local Mental Health Networks are held across Kent and Medway.

For  enagement opportunities for children and young people, visit  the NELFT Get Involved page or KCC's Kent Youth Council or the Medway Youth Council, depending on where you live.

Each NHS  organisation has its own process for comments, compliments and complaints about the services it provides or commissions.

The Kent and Medway Mental Health Network is also on hand to listen to you and support you.

Tell them about your experience of using mental health services in Kent or Medway, and they will use your story to help improve mental health services for everyone.

The network has people living near to you that are on hand to listen, and wherever possible help you to resolve any issues.
