Be prepared for the bank holidays

NHS Kent and Medway is encouraging residents to be prepared and know where to go for medical help ahead of the bank holidays in May.

The long weekend is a busy time for NHS services and it's important to choose the right service if you are ill or injured.

If you have planned a trip away, pick up any prescription medications that you need in advance and take these with you.

Make sure your medicine cabinet is fully stocked with the basic essentials, such as paracetamol, ibuprofen, indigestion treatment and antihistamine.

Get advice from your pharmacist at the first sign of feeling ill - don't wait for it to get more serious. Use our map to view opening times on the bank holidays.
