At the NHS Kent and Medway's annual general meeting, attendees heard about the organisation's achievements, challenges and priorities over the past year. The meeting included presentations from the Chair, Chief Executive, Chief Finance Officer and Chief Medical Officer, as well as updates on neighbourhood health services and the NHS 10 Year Health Plan.

The AGM highlighted progress made during 2024/25, including improvements in access to primary care, the expansion of mental health and women's health services, increased use of digital tools such as the NHS App, and continued work to tackle health inequalities across Kent and Medway. The meeting also reflected on the financial and operational challenges facing the NHS and outlined priorities for the year ahead, with a continued focus on prevention, community-based care, partnership working and improving outcomes.

Residents were also given the opportunity to ask questions and hear how NHS Kent and Medway is working with partners to improve health and care services for local communities.
