Annual General Meeting 2025/26
NHS Kent and Medway's virtual Annual General Meeting (AGM) took place on Tuesday, 22 September from 4 to 5pm.
At NHS Kent and Medway's annual general meeting, attendees heard from our chair, chief executive, chief finance officer, chief medical officer, chief nursing officer and chair of the audit and risk committee, who reflected on the organisation's performance, challenges, finances and governance during 2025/26.
Despite significant pressures on NHS services and finances, progress was made in reducing long waits for treatment, expanding diagnostic services, improving urgent care and supporting better access to general practice, pharmacy and mental health services.
Looking ahead, the executive team shared plans to provide more joined-up care closer to home, improve access to services and reduce health inequalities across Kent and Medway. The meeting concluded with a question-and-answer session, giving attendees the opportunity to raise issues that matter to them.
