On Tuesday, 22 November, Paul Bentley, Mike Gilbert, the Greener NHS team and colleagues from across our Integrated Care System came together to celebrate the launch of our Green Plan.
The event was a huge success, with everyone sharing the ongoing work they’ve been doing and what they’ve learnt so far, all of which will help us to put sustainability at the heart of everything we do.
It also highlighted that everyone is in agreement on the matter of not wasting precious time talking about why we must act. We are all living through the consequences of climate change and must act now.
Our Green Plan
Our vision is to see sustainability at the heart of everything we do, providing first class patient care in the most sustainably conscious way. Programme priority areas include:

- travel and transport.
