StayHome for menu nav

Everyone but key workers should be staying home this weekend. But if you do need to go out for essential medical care or medicines, please follow the social distancing rules.

Our GP practices and community pharmacies are staying open on the bank holidays to enable local people who do need to see a GP or get essential medicines to do so.

Please protect them, your family, friends and local community by only going out if absolutely necessary.

GP practices over the bank holiday

If you or people you live with don’t have coronavirus symptoms and you think you need advice from a GP practice:

  • GP practices will be open on Good Friday (10 April) and Easter Monday (13 April) the same as current normal weekdays
  • On Saturday 11 April and Sunday 12 April, GP access will be the same as any other weekend
  • Please phone your practice as many consultations are currently by phone/online and all appointments are booked in advance rather than walk-in

If a face-to-face appointment is necessary, you’ll be advised on this. Appointments may be at your practice or another nearby service.
