Over 40s can book boosters 3 months after second dose

The national booking service has been updated so all eligible adults aged 40 and over can now get their life-saving booster jab three months (91 days) on from their second dose. The system will give people access to make a booking from two months (61 days) after their second dose.

The NHS will offer everyone aged 18 and over the opportunity to book their booster jab by the end of January 2022.

In line with the updated JCVI guidance, we are inviting people most at risk from the virus first and will open up bookings in stages based on age.

Infection rates are high

Covid-19 infection rates across Kent and Medway are high, and expected to increase with the Omicron variant spreading across the country. Please take up the opportunity to get your booster to maximise your protection and help protect others.
